My name is Daniel Barrera, and I am the owner and operator of New Leaf Services.
New Leaf Services was established in 2012 because I had a desire to help others who struggled with anger issues and the problems that result.
As someone who discovered that unresolved anger had affected much of my life, I wanted to use all my education, professional and life experiences to make a difference.
I truly understand how unresolved anger can make life difficult. Thankfully, I also understand how taking responsibility for one’s emotions and working towards change can be life changing.
After earning my credential as a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (C.A.R.T.) in 2012, I became an approved provider of anger management services for both the Hidalgo County Adult Probation Department and Court System.
I also hold a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I opened our offices October 2012 and since then, I have gone on to assist many mandated and non-mandated clients across the Rio Grande Valley and Texas with their anger issues and find hope that change is possible.
I am very appreciative of the trust that many have placed in me and consider myself fortunate to have the privilege of seeing so many lives changed on a daily basis.
It is my hope that New Leaf Services can continue to provide counseling, education, inspiration, and motivation to help bring about change for those who struggle with severe anger problems.
